Flexible arrival and departure days subject to availability and logistics.
To book we ask for a 25% deposit by bank transfer, cheque or Paypal and a signed contract (which I sign first). The reservation isn’t valid until we have received the deposit and the signed contract but we keep the flat for you for 3 working days while waiting for the deposit, after which we give priority to the person who contacted us first. If two booking requests cross at the same time the first person to pay the deposit gets the flat – it’s not ideal but at least it’s clear. As soon as we receive the deposit and contract we send an email confirming receipt of the deposit and the booking, we give the contact details of the welcome concierge and we block the period for you. We can also send information on Toulon, transport etc. The balance is due 30 days before the beginning of the rental.
Our guests have the security of a contract, a written booking confirmation and a professional concierge to welcome them in Toulon. We will be happy to provide proof of ownership and good faith eg an electricity or property tax bill. Please don’t hesitate to ask.
If you cancel you lose your deposit (of course if we can re-let the flat then we reimburse your deposit). If you cancel less than 30 days before the let is due to start (ie after paying the balance of the rent) then in theory neither the deposit nor the balance is refundable but if we can re-let the flat we will reimburse both – it’s in our contract. In the event of a crisis we will do everything we can to come to an arrangement with our renters but we cannot take responsibility for things outside our control. We advise you to consider taking out holiday insurance to cover such eventualities.
Refund guarantee – COVID-19 – in case of having to cancel due to coronavirus
Bank transfer to our French bank in euros or to our UK bank in sterling. Cheque in sterling (sent to our UK address) or in euros (sent to our bank in France). Paypal – it’s secure, free for renters, immediate and one doesn’t have to have a Paypal account if one pays by card.
Last Minute Rentals
We ask for a signed contract (by email if possible) and 100% of the rent by bank transfer or Paypal.
We don’t live in Toulon so a welcome concierge greets our renters. The concierge is usually available from 9 am to 2 pm. If these times don’t suit you please tell me when you send your booking email and we’ll do our best. We ask for a damage deposit of 300 € (usually by Paypal or by cheque the day of arrival) or £265 by Paypal, cheque or bank transfer in advance; the Paypal payment / cheque will be returned at the end of the stay subject to there being no damage.
